Rachel was the daughter of a popular Egyptian model. After an attempted assassination, they fled to Arabia. However, Rachel's mother disappeared soon after this. Rachel grew up on the streets of Arabia until she is put into a local shelter for street children. She was adopted into a family in the United States, but slowly learned English. She was barely educated in the Arabic language, and most of her words are old languages, or Arabic slang. Rachel also never knew her father.
